Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the JEE Main & Advanced 2026-27 app ("the app"), built by SatWebView, collects and how it's used. The app is available on the web and as an Android application.

Information we collect

Account information: when you register, we collect your email address and the display name you choose. Your password is stored as a one-way hash — we never store or can see your actual password.
Study progress: your test results, bookmarks, crash-course progress, revision status and streak are stored so they're available when you return, and are linked to your account.
Device/advertising identifiers: the Android app shows ads (via Google AdMob) to keep the app free. AdMob may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads. We do not control what AdMob collects — see Google's own policy linked below.
Crash and diagnostic data: the Android app uses Firebase Crashlytics to automatically report app crashes, including device model, OS version, and the technical details of the crash (stack trace). This is used solely to find and fix bugs — it is not linked to your identity.

How we use it

To create and secure your account, and let you log in from any device.
To save your practice history, bookmarks and progress across sessions.
To show ads in the Android app that keep the app free to use.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third-party services

The app uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

Google AdMob — serves ads in the Android app. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — collects crash reports from the Android app. See Firebase's Privacy and Security policy.

Data retention & deletion

Your account data is retained while your account exists. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at jee@satwebview.in from the email address registered on the account.

Children's privacy

The app is intended for students preparing for JEE Main and JEE Advanced, typically aged 15 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
